Meet Sizzles – Porky Whites' very own intrepid aviator – the new retail character from Graham White & Co and star of the new online game that is currently driving customers new and old to the Porky Whites' website. Devised and developed as part of the Porky Whites' CRM strategy, Sizzles is currently flying off shelves in UK supermarkets throughout the summer as part of the on-pack promotion and competition designed to engage customers and spread the word amongst the brand's incredibly loyal and evangelical customer base.
With a click through of over 65% on the support email broadcasts, take up has been exceptional and has been very encouraging. "It's always every digital agency's dream that an online game goes viral," said Drew, Mosaic's digital MD, "but there's a fine line between getting it right and getting it very wrong with web-savvy audiences who are highly discerning and selective. Sizzles has posed an additional challenge for us too in that we have a contemporary retail brand based on traditional values but a medium that is definitely rooted in today's digital landscape. Much fun was had developing a character that could help bridge this gap and when Sizzles emerged, he just felt right."
Sizzles the game is currently available as an online game but future plans for him are in development as his popularity gathers momentum.
